Season 2 brings fresh faces to the fold, notably Lamorne Morris and Iris Apatow joining in recurring roles.

Morris steps into the part of Peter, a magnetic biotech founder whose rapid ascent intensifies the already fraught competition between Ellis and Jackson.

According to creator John Owen, Peter was conceived to provide a counterpoint to Ellis — a delicate challenge given Ellis’s intelligence, charm, and popularity.

Rob Lowe has praised Morris for making Peter believable, noting his ability to navigate both comedic and dramatic territory with ease.

Returning cast members include Sian Clifford as Anna, Ellis’s CFO and closest adviser; Rachel Marsh as the reserved scientist Luna; and Emma Ferreira as the outgoing researcher Ruby.

Aaron Branch plays Malcolm, Jackson’s childhood friend and project manager at Dragon Company, while Fred Armisen appears as Leslie, the board-appointed mental health counselor for Ellis.

Frank Gallegos, JT Parr, Tom Allen, and Sean Clements also pop up throughout the season in recurring parts.
